committed to undoing the sacramental order of the Church, and most likely will not be persuaded by any argument no matter how intelligent or well articulated. But there are many more Catholics who desperately want to understand Church teaching and be faithful to it—Catholics who seek an authentic Catholic feminism. They are eager for reasons, a fresh perspective, and a coherent theology that explains the faith. Theological tools are needed to solve the crisis of faith that plagues Catholicism today.
